KONNECT  6yrs – 3rd Grade

Summary: In this four-week series, elementary students will learn how to worship God honestly, with their whole heart, for who He truly is. Worship is an expression of the relationship you have with your Creator through Jesus Christ. When your spirit is renewed at salvation by the Holy Spirit and you begin to understand the truth of how great God is, how small you are, and that you’re actually forgiven and friends with Him, your heart can’t help but worship God. Worship is a genuine expression of the love, admiration, and respect you feel in your heart towards God. Live a life of worship that puts God first in every situation, and check yourself to see when you may be getting distracted or losing your focus on God as the only recipient of your worship.

The Point: I’ll worship God with all my heart.

The Verse: John 4:23 NIRV “… True worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and in truth. …”

Pray together. Pray that your kids would be filled with the joy and peace that comes from accepting God’s love and grace toward them. Pray they would walk in grace and freedom every day of their lives

PRAY: Ask your kids what they want to talk to God about, and pray with them. Don’t know what to pray? Pray this: God, thank You for teaching us how to focus on what You say is good, and not what we think is bad about ourselves. Help us not to listen to our inner critic, but to listen to Your voice. In Your Son’s name we pray, amen.

KONNECT  6yrs – 3rd Grade

Summary: Our best isn’t good enough—but God’s grace is! During this four-week series, our elementary students will learn that God loves us so much that He doesn’t give us the punishment we deserve for our sins. Instead, He gives us new life, freedom from sin, and changes us completely through His Holy Spirit when we accept the sacrifice Christ made for us on the cross. That is great news!

The Point: Everyone sins, but God’s grace wins.

The Verse: Romans 6:23 NLT  For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

LOOP  4th – 6th Grade

Summary: Our Loop students will learning all about God’s grace.  In our first week, in our new series called How to Save the World, students will learn what grace is (getting something good we don’t deserve). The next week, we’ll celebrate our resurrected King together! And students will learn how Jesus saved the whole world. We’ll celebrate the fact that God’s grace saves us from our sin. In the third and final week of our series, students will learn how to share the grace that God gives us with others!

The Verse: Ephesians 2:8-9 NLT  God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
